Sabine Lingg

Patent-Engineer

Having studied mechanical engineering, with a focus on process engineering, at the Technical University of Munich, Germany, where she graduated with an engineering degree, Sabine Lingg continued her studies with a scholarship from the Gesellschaft für Chemische Technik und Biotechnologie e.V. (DECHEMA: the expert network for chemical engineering and biotechnology in Germany), and was awarded a PhD in engineering (Dr.-Ing.) from the Technical University’s Department for Process Engineering.  She wrote her dissertation on a biotechnical topic, i.e. on the purification of proteins from solution.

Afterwards she worked at well-known patent firms in Munich and Mannheim, Germany.  While working for a biotechnology start-up company, she was also able to acquire experience from the perspective of the user.

Sabine Lingg has extensive knowledge in the field of mechanical engineering and science.  She has been working in the intellectual property field for more than ten years.  In particular she has handled clients in the fields of process engineering, mechanical engineering, vehicle construction, building equipment and appliances and in some instances also electronics and chemical engineering.
